ClearMetabolic is a personal website about GLP-1 medications. This page explains what data the site collects, what happens to it, and what your choices are. The short version: the site collects very little, and it never sells or shares your personal information for marketing.

What We Collect

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people read. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to me. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google processes it. You can block analytics cookies with a browser extension or your browser's cookie settings, and the site works fine without them.

If you join the email newsletter, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the newsletter service the site uses. It is used only to send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Email You Send Us

If you email hello@clearmetabolic.com, we keep the email to reply to you. Please do not send medical records, insurance cards, savings cards, member ID numbers, or other sensitive personal documents. We do not need them to answer questions, and we delete any that arrive.

What We Do Not Collect

The site has no user accounts, no login, and no comment system. It does not collect health information, payment information, or government identifiers. Tools on the site (such as cost estimators) run in your browser and do not send your inputs to us.

Affiliate Links

The site earns commissions through affiliate links to telehealth providers. When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network and the provider you visit may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. Their privacy policies govern what they collect. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data lives with the service providers named above (Google Analytics, Buttondown, and our email host) and nowhere else.

Your Choices

Block or clear cookies in your browser to opt out of analytics.
Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email.
Email hello@clearmetabolic.com to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion. For most people the answer is a newsletter email address or nothing.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top will be updated and material changes will be noted on the corrections page.
