Calibrate Review: What the $199 Membership Actually Covers

Calibrate is worth comparing if you want coaching alongside help navigating prescription coverage. It is not a $199 medication bundle. The decision depends on your total bill, whether you want ongoing coaching, and your willingness to commit before knowing exactly what treatment will cost.

Membership and total cost

Calibrate’s direct-to-consumer pricing lists a $199 monthly membership with an initial three-month commitment: $597 in monthly installments, not one upfront payment. It includes coaching, a curriculum, a clinician visit and insurance navigation. Medication and lab charges are separate.

Cost componentWhat to budget
Membership$199 each month; initial commitment totals $597
PrescriptionYour pharmacy charge or insurance copay
LabsSeparate charge; check your coverage
RenewalMonthly after the initial commitment

The pricing page describes medication copays typically around $25 or less after meeting a deductible. That is not a guaranteed price for you. Membership itself is not covered by insurance; Calibrate lists HSA/FSA eligibility.

Your comparison should therefore be: membership + prescription + labs + any applicable deductible costs, without counting the same charge twice. For illustration, a $25 prescription charge makes a month $224 before labs or other applicable costs. That is arithmetic, not a quote or an all-inclusive offer.

Before paying, ask your insurer about the exact drug, prior authorization, deductible and lab coverage. Ask Calibrate what happens to membership payments if affordable medication cannot be obtained.

Medication and availability

Calibrate’s medication page names brands including Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic and Mounjaro, and explicitly says it does not prescribe compounded GLP-1s. A listing is not a promise that you will receive a particular prescription.

The membership terms leave prescribing to clinicians and do not guarantee insurance coverage or medication availability. Confirm eligibility in your state before enrolling. We have not independently checked state-by-state availability.

For medication background, see our Wegovy and Zepbound pages. This review compares purchasing terms, not which medicine is appropriate for you.

Cancellation and the initial commitment

The cancellation policy allows a full membership refund when cancellation is requested within 72 hours of purchase. Outside that window, ordinary cancellation does not erase the initial commitment.

After the initial term, cancellation requires at least 7 calendar days before the next billing date. Use the support channel specified in the policy and retain confirmation.

There is an important distinction if Calibrate determines you are medically ineligible: the policy waives the remaining initial-term commitment but says membership fees already paid are not refunded. Do not assume ineligibility means every payment comes back.

These are direct-consumer terms. Employer-sponsored enrollment and older memberships may have different rules; check the terms attached to your enrollment.

The weight-loss refund is conditional

The published guarantee offers eligible members a refund of 50% of paid membership fees if they lose less than 10% of starting weight after 12 consecutive months. It does not refund medication or lab costs.

Conditions include participation requirements, eligible self-paid enrollment, and no prescription weight-loss medication during the 12 months before purchase. Continuing members are excluded. Read the complete requirements before treating the refund as part of your budget.

This is a conditional refund policy, not assurance that treatment will produce a particular result.

Where Calibrate fits

If you already have medication coverage but want coaching and administrative help, compare whether those services justify an additional recurring membership. If your only goal is obtaining a prescription at the lowest total cost, compare a clinician visit through your existing care team before taking on a separate commitment.

If coverage is uncertain, get the likely pharmacy cost and cancellation consequences in writing first. A low advertised copay is not enough to decide.

Our provider directory and cost without insurance guide can help structure that comparison. Compare the same medication, treatment period and included services rather than headline monthly prices alone.

What we checked

This AI-assisted public-source desk review checked Calibrate’s pricing, medication page, membership terms, cancellation policy and guarantee on September 16, 2026. We did not complete signup, pay for treatment, test delivery or support, or independently verify clinician and pharmacy credentials. This is not an independent clinical review.

The revision removes previously unsupported outcome comparisons and corrects the medication-and-labs inclusion claim. Public terms can change; obtain your own written quote and enrollment terms before purchase.
