Mochi Health Review: What You Pay Beyond the Advertised Price

Mochi’s advertised medication price is not your whole monthly bill. Its public monthly membership is $79, excluding medication and diagnostic services. What we checked

On September 14, 2026, we read Mochi’s public pricing, per-dose pricing explanation, subscription terms and refund policy. We calculated the examples below from those figures.

We did not complete signup, pay for care, attend an appointment, test support response times, inspect a patient account or independently verify clinicians’ credentials. This is a public-source purchasing review, not a treatment review. Claims about a particular patient’s eligibility, prescription, pharmacy or final checkout bill remain unverified.

Membership plus medication: the calculation

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and should not be described as equivalent to approved brand-name products. Price alone is not a reason to choose a compounded treatment; discuss suitable approved options and any clinical need for compounding with a licensed clinician. Mochi’s published medication ranges are $60–$99/month for compounded semaglutide and $90–$199/month for compounded tirzepatide. Rates depend on prescribed dose, state and pharmacy; the provider says the patient account shows the applicable price. Source: Mochi’s per-dose pricing explanation.

These are our additions of the published components, not checkout quotes. They do not include diagnostic services or any applicable taxes, shipping or other fees. Mochi’s terms allow additional medication charges; confirm the complete bill before paying. Source: subscription fees, section 4.

For budgeting, three months at the regular monthly rate would be $417–$534 for semaglutide or $507–$834 for tirzepatide, assuming the medication stays within the stated range. This is a scenario calculation, not a promised three-month offer or a dosing schedule. We have not assumed an introductory discount or a prepaid membership discount.

The practical trade-off: a low medication starting price can be attractive, but a separate recurring membership and dose-dependent medication bill make the headline insufficient for comparing providers. Compare the price at your prescribed dose and the amount due at renewal, not just the first payment.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Mochi’s terms say paid membership continues until cancelled. Membership cancellation is available through the account or by phone; emailing the general support address is not a valid cancellation method under those terms. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.

Medication subscriptions have a separate timing constraint: cancel or modify before the refill request reaches the pharmacy. The terms generally exclude refunds for partly used membership periods and for medication orders already sent for dispensing. Source: subscription and cancellation terms.

The separate refund page also says prescription sales are final, with suspected dispensing errors to be raised for investigation. We have not tested how a cancellation or refund request is handled in practice. Source: prescription refund policy.

Before paying, save the renewal date and cancellation instructions shown for your actual plan. Do not treat “cancel anytime” as a money-back guarantee.

State availability and care: what is not established

Mochi says medication availability and pricing vary by state. Its public team includes physicians with different certifications and nurse practitioners, so it is inaccurate to promise that every appointment is with an obesity-medicine specialist. Source: medication disclaimer and provider roster.

We have not checked every state or each medication/pharmacy combination. Ask whether your chosen treatment is available in your state before buying membership, and confirm which clinician will provide care. Nationwide brand presence does not establish nationwide availability of every product.

How to compare your options

Use the same questions for Mochi and another provider:

• What is due today, and what will be due at the next renewal?
• Does that amount include your prescribed medication and any required diagnostics?
• Can medication costs rise with dose, and what is the upper quoted amount?
• Is the treatment available in your state through the named pharmacy?
• When does cancellation stop the next membership payment and medication refill?

Our conclusion is about purchasing clarity, not clinical superiority: Mochi provides enough public information to calculate a membership-plus-medication estimate, but a patient-specific quote is still necessary. We removed the earlier blanket specialist claims and unsupported claims of better care rather than treating marketing or an editorial score as proof.
